An innovative company providing supply chain solutions to the aerospace industry with 100,000+ unique parts in stock from over 2,500 suppliers with customers that include almost every manor aerospace and defense OEM along with many of their subcontractors is seeking Warehouse Associates to join their team in Chatsworth.

 

Summary: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate execution of receiving, inventory management, kitting, picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure product integrity, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery in compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards. This role directly supports operational flow, traceability, and compliance within an aerospace distribution environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and certifications.
  • Validate quantities using calibrated scales and counting methods.
  • Accurately receive materials into the ERP system and complete required put-away transactions.
  • Identify, segregate, and escalate discrepancies, damages, or missing documentation per procedure.
  • Perform inventory put-away, replenishment, and cycle counts in accordance with established schedules.
  • Maintain accurate location control and traceability of inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies when identified.
  • Verify kit contents against work instructions and system requirements.
  • Assemble customer kits using approved materials, packaging, and methods.
  • Route completed kits to final inspection or shipment per process flow.
  • Pick materials accurately based on system requirements and priority.
  • Package product to prevent damage and ensure compliance with shipping requirements.
  • Prepare shipping documentation including BOLs, commercial invoices, labels, and ASNs as required.
  • Verify routing, quantities, and destination prior to shipment release.
  • Coordinate with carriers and dispatchers for scheduled pickups when required.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and procedural requirements.
  • Document work accurately and completely in required systems.
  • Communicate issues, delays, or nonconformances to supervision promptly.
  • Support cross-functional workflow as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Education or equivalent.
  • 1-year minimum experience in similar warehouse environment or industry.
  • Hands-on experience with stocking, labelling, and organizing products for delivery.
  • Understanding of databases (ERP systems)
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
  • Beginning level data entry and computer skills. (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Basic math skills.
  • Demonstrated basic material handling including packaging.
  • Able to use warehouse equipment and tools.
  • Accurately perform operational tasks assigned accurately, timely, and error free.
  • Able to adjust quickly to change.
  • Good organizational skills.
