Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Lead CMM Programmer for an industrial equipment supplier located in Tonawanda, NY!

 

This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate measurement, quality control, and smooth operation of all CMM-related activities.

 

Job Functions:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain safety and good housekeeping standards throughout the facility
• Coordinate, review, and present required reports to management and customers
• Program, troubleshoot, and support all CMM activities, including maintenance, certifications, repairs, and upgrades
• Create CMM programs to measure parts per drawing specifications and report results
• Develop new measurement methods and programs for incoming material inspections
• Manage communication between gages, CMM Reporter, Q-DAS, and reporting outputs
• Participate in gage recall, certification tracking, document non-conformances, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar CMM role
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of materials, tooling, gages, and CMMs
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Proficiency with Zeiss Calypso and Modus 1.6 Renishaw machines specifically
