Tool & Die Set Up Technician – 3 Openings (1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shift)

Location: St. Joseph, MI

Pay: $20–$25 per hour (Based on Experience)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Set Up Technicians to support our die cast operations. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting die cast machines while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform die cast machine set-ups per standard work orders
• Work on and replace dies, cores, and cylinders
• Start, stop, and operate die cast machines safely and efficiently
• Set up and cycle die cast machines and equipment to support production
• Troubleshoot machines and processes as needed
• Measure and visually inspect castings for defects
• Ensure machines are properly locked out prior to set-up
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous die cast set-up experience (required)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of die cast machines
• Ability to read and follow standard work instructions
• Experience starting and troubleshooting machines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation

Pay ranges from $20–$25 per hour and is based on experience.
