Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and professional Coat Checker to join our suit shop. This position is responsible for checking in and returning coats and personal items for customers while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is polite, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and check in coats, jackets, and personal belongings

• Provide claim tickets and ensure all items are stored securely

• Retrieve coats quickly and accurately when customers depart

• Maintain a clean, organized coat room and front area

• Assist customers with basic questions or direct them to sales staff

• Handle customer interactions professionally and courteously

• Track lost or misplaced items following store policies

• Support store staff with light duties when coat volume is low

Requirements:

• Customer service experience preferred

• Friendly, professional attitude and strong communication skills

• Ability to stand for long periods and move items safely

• Organized with strong attention to detail

• Reliable and punctual

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
