Die Cast Supervisor – 1st Shift

Shift: 1st Shift

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year (based on experience)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Die Cast Supervisor to lead 1st shift operations within our Die Casting Department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and team-oriented work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong die casting experience and proven leadership skills in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise all daily operations within the Die Casting Department
Lead, coach, and develop die cast operators to meet production and quality goals
Ensure jobs are run at standard rates and production efficiency is maximized
Troubleshoot casting defects and implement corrective actions
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and management teams to support production needs
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Enforce MIOSHA/OSHA safety standards and company policies
Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management
Analyze production issues and drive continuous improvement
Work in a manufacturing environment without temperature control

Qualifications

Required: Previous die casting experience
Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Strong understanding of aluminum die casting processes
Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Toshiba die cast machine experience is a plus
