Premier electronics manufacturer in Auburn Hills is seeking an experienced SMT Operator Technician to join their manufacturing team. This is a permanent, evaluation hire opportunity with a world-class leader in their state-of-the-art facility.
SMT Operator Responsibilities and Required Skills:
- Operate SMT equipment
- Feeder and trolly setups
- Quality inspections
- Familiarity with SMT equipment, tools, materials
- Strong attention to details
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of SMT Operator and PCB assembly experience required
- Monday – Friday (overtime as needed)
Pay: $19.00 per hour, or more depending upon experience and qualifications
SMT Technician Responsibilities and Required Skills:
- Program, setup, and operate SMT equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair machines as required.
- Work with Engineering, production, and operators to ensure efficient operations to meet production goals.
- High school diploma or GED required, 2yr. technical degree preferred
- 2+ years of SMT Operator and PCB assembly experience required
- Ability to read and understand manuals, blueprints, schematics and drawings
- Setup and programming experience highly preferred
Monday – Friday (overtime as needed)
