Laboratory Technician (QC)Location: Springfield, ILPay: $25/hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMJob Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:Seeking a Laboratory Technician with QC lab experience to perform testing, sample preparation, and instrument operation in a laboratory environment working with liquids and dry fine powders.
Responsibilities:
Perform QC testing on dry particles (flow, density, cohesion, static)
Test dry powder seed coating and seed treatment characteristics
Operate ICP and nitrogen analyzers
Prepare, label, and transport samples for testing
Conduct sample prep for quality control
Maintain, standardize, and troubleshoot lab instruments
Record, document, and report routine lab results
Prepare and ship samples for customer trials
Qualifications:
Experience in a QC laboratory environment
Liquid testing experience required
Experience handling dry fine powders
Strong algebra and stoichiometry skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
