Machine Operator

Located in Largo, FL

Salary: $15/hr-$16hr DOE

Hours: 7am- 3:30pm

Dress Code: Closed-toed shoes, casual shirt and pants.

Skills:

• Must use shop mathematics and follow instructions

• Become proficient in company procedures and knowledgeable in opening all department equipment

• Safety protection must be worn as required

Responsibilities: 

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded as management determines necessary.

• Reports to Supervisor. Takes direction from lead worker or set-up tech.

• Following instructions from process sheet, determine method of press operation.

• Visually inspect parts for defects and flashing.

• Trim parts with hand tools, as required.

• Report presses operation irregularities and stock adjustments to lead workers.

• Operate several presses, as required. Operate secondary operations as required.

• Perform housekeeping activities to maintain work area and assure cleanliness of environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Must have 1 Year of Experience

Language Skills: Ability to understand, speak, and read English clearly.
