Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to support financial accuracy and profitability in a plastic injection molding manufacturing environment. This role is critical to analyzing production costs, improving margins, and supporting operational decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead

• Track and report variances (material, labor, overhead) and recommend corrective actions

• Support pricing, quoting, and margin analysis

• Partner with operations and production teams to improve cost efficiency

• Prepare inventory valuations and support monthly close

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-related audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA a plus)

• 5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing (plastic injection molding preferred)

• Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting

• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel

• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial insights clearly
