About the Opportunity

A global technology company is seeking a Repair Technician to support its San Jose-based operations. This role focuses on repairing and performing end-of-line testing on small pneumatic actuators, including helium leak testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced mechanical and electronic assembly, the ability to read assembly drawings, and a strong attention to detail. While a basic understanding of electronics is helpful, it is not a critical requirement.

Duties

• Perform repairs and end-of-line testing on small pneumatic actuators.
• Conduct helium leak tests as part of the quality assurance process.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings to guide repair and testing procedures.
• Operate and maintain system equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with product teams to address challenges and provide feedback.
• Write clear and concise failure analysis reports.
• Use ERP systems to select and order necessary parts.
• Test repaired products to factory specifications.
• Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• High school diploma required; technical college degree preferred.
• Experience in advanced mechanical and electronic assembly.
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings.
• Basic understanding of electronics (preferred but not required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5%–10%).
