Counter Supervisor – Construction Supply Company (Southern California)

Are you a hands-on leader with experience in construction supplies, warehouse operations, or customer service? Our fast-paced Construction Supply Company is looking for an experienced Counter Supervisor to join our team!
We operate a busy brick-and-mortar store with 8 delivery trucks serving contractors and job sites all over Southern California. We take pride in providing top-quality materials, exceptional service, and dependable delivery — and we’re looking for a motivated supervisor to help lead our front-line counter team.

Responsibilities:
•    Supervise daily counter operations, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient order processing
•    Manage and train counter staff; schedule, assign tasks, and monitor performance
•    Coordinate closely with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
•    Handle customer inquiries, quotes, and special orders
•    Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales counter
•    Support inventory management and product display
•    Assist with sales growth through relationship building and product knowledge
Requirements:
•    3+ years of experience in construction supply, hardware, or building materials preferred
•    Prior supervisory or lead experience required
•    Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
•    Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
•    Basic computer skills (POS systems, inventory software)
•    Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
