Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Suspension Mechanic for a full-time opportunity with a reputable company in Plant City, FL.
Position Overview:
As a Suspension Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of suspension systems and components for commercial vehicles. This is a hands-on role that also involves TIG welding and mechanical troubleshooting. Candidates must have their own tools.
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, maintain, and repair suspension systems on commercial vehicles
Inspect and diagnose suspension issues and recommend solutions
Perform TIG welding on metal components
Assemble various suspension parts and systems according to specifications
Utilize hand and power tools to complete mechanical tasks
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Ensure all work meets quality control and safety standards
Qualifications:
Previous experience in suspension repair, maintenance, and assembly (commercial vehicle experience strongly preferred)
TIG welding experience
Must provide your own tools
Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
