Stone Fabricator

We are seeking an experienced Stone Fabricator / Sawyer to join a local fabrication shop. This role requires true hands-on skill, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship. This is not an entry-level labor role — stone fabrication requires talent, precision, and the ability to learn quickly.

The ideal candidate can confidently fabricate stone from start to finish and is especially strong on the saw.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut stone slabs accurately, including mitered edges
• Cut and fabricate porcelain slabs
• Polish stone and finish edges to quality standards
• Create and work from templates
• Operate saws and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Fabricate stone pieces from raw slab to finished product
• Maintain quality control and minimize material waste
• Keep work area clean and follow shop safety standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong saw skills are required — miters and porcelain experience are a must
• Proven experience as a stone fabricator OR
• A highly motivated individual with some experience who is willing and able to learn everything
• Ability to measure accurately and work with precision
• Good attitude, strong work ethic, and coachability
• Ability to take feedback and improve skills

Preferred Experience

• Stone fabrication shop experience
• Porcelain slab handling and cutting
• Mitered edge work
• Polishing and finishing
• Templating experience
