MIG Welder

Salary: $20/hr

Our client, a construction supply manufacturing company in Northeast Bexar County is looking for a MIG Welder for a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity. Pay is $20 an hour for 1st shift. An additional $1.50/hr.in differential pay is added for 2nd shift. Current need is for 2nd Shift. Duties for the MIG Welder position include:

• Performing welding of metal objects using MIG processes
• Plan and produce metal forms or objects
• Reconstruct damaged articles of various metals and alloys

Requirements for the MIG Welder position are:

• Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds
• At least 3 years’ experience in welding

This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity. Hours for the MIG Welder position are 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm, 2nd shift: 2:00pm to 10:30pm. Overtime is possible. Days of work are Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. Pay is $20 an hour for 1st shift.
