  1. Basic Function:

 

Summary Interviews customers and records interview information into computer for customer service by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  1. Detail lists / including:
  • Promote / solicit exiting, new or additional products and services, investigate conditions preventing completion of products or services connection orders and to obtain orders.
  • Deal directly with customers either by telephone or electronically
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Follow up on customer interactions
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints
  • Perform customer verifications
  • Assist and keep up with customer files
  • Fills out contract forms, determines charges for service requested,
  • Process orders, forms, applications and requests for customers
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
  • Manage customers' accounts
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
  • Record details of actions taken
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  • Produce BOM’s (Bill of Materials) and Production Picking Sheets
  • Send letters and notices out to customers
  • Send and track customer sample requests
  • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
  • Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.
  • Assist Sales and Marketing with specified needs
  • Assist Operations with any specified needs
  • Receives orders for production, shipment, discontinuance, or change in products or services.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing matters
  • Help collects payments if needed, prepares change of address records, and issues discontinuance orders.
  • Adjusts complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
  • Reports to the Business Development Manager, providing regular input on all account activity, including status on a weekly basis.

  • Assist with physical Inventory as needed

Physical Demands

 

The physical demands must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must have valid driver's license and be able to travel in state or out of state by car, boat or airplane when job required.  The company processes physical inventory twice a year in June and December.  It is required that the employee must cooperate with the work and be able to lift and /or move up to 55 pounds for inventory or regular work. 

 

Time and attendance and punctuality to this position are essential to perform the work.  The company does not have work from home option; all the work is in the office or unless officially sent to visit customers or attend trade shows under approval.
