Production Artist / Sewing Machine Operator

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable, communicative, and hard-working production professional to join a client’s team in North Omaha. This role focuses primarily on scenic painting and design/modeling, with sewing machine operation as part of the position. Industrial sewing experience is a plus! 

Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift
• Location: North Omaha
• Pay/Salary: Up to $24/hr (based on experience)

Job Duties:
• Perform scenic / art painting (theatrical or artistic painting; not residential).
• Work in design and modeling, using one or more of the following:
– CAD and/or 3D design software
– Digital pattern making
– Adobe Illustrator
– Theater tech, scenic design, or rigging
• Operate industrial or production sewing machines (training available).
• Collaborate with the production team to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Experience in scenic painting and/or design/modeling (priority skill set).
• Familiarity with CAD, 3D design, Illustrator, theater tech, or digital pattern making.
• Sewing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong reliability, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a hands-on, production-focused environment.
