Warehouse Floater 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Temp-Hire) 

Pay: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr 

 

Job Summary: 

 

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Warehouse Floater to join our clients team. The Warehouse Floater will provide support across various areas of the warehouse, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role involves assisting with receiving, storing, and shipping resistant materials, managing inventory, and fulfilling orders. The ideal candidate will be flexible, quick to learn new tasks, and able to step into different roles as needed to maintain efficiency and productivity. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this position.

 

Job Description: 

 

 

• Some warehousing experience.
• Forklift & Overhead Crane experience 
• Parcel shipping/packaging (cardboard boxes, tubes & running the shipment on UPS.com)
• Pulling/stocking fittings and flanges (pick and ship type items)
• Shipping (loading hotshots & customer will call orders)
• Able to read a tape measurer and perform simple math
• Some experience with handle tools (Drills, Miter saw, nail guns) 

Job Requirements: 

 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience required 
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items 50lbs 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Know how to operate Forklift (Sit Down and Stand Up), Overhead Crane and Pallet Jack
