SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Insulating coils with glass or mica tape and sometimes resins• Measurements to conform to standards using calipers and mircrometers• Must be able to stand for extended periods• Excellent attention to detail required• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach • Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals
REQUIREMENTS• HS Diploma or equivalent• Ability to read blueprints/assembly drawings• Attention to detail and excellent eye/hand coordination• Experience with hand tools• Brazing/Soldering Experience a plus• Mechanical Aptitude• Math skills (decimals/fractions)• Use of measuring equipment (calipers, micrometer)
