Location: Butte, MT (and surrounding areas)
Pay: $19–$24 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full‑time, on‑call rotation, travel required

We’re seeking a motivated Pump Technician to join our team and support water well pump installation, service, repair, and troubleshooting across Montana.

💧 What You’ll Do
•   Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain water well pumps and commercial pumping systems
•   Service and install water treatment equipment
•   Size pumps for various applications and assist with sales of wells, pumps, and treatment systems
•   Travel to job sites (overnight stays as needed)
•   Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service truck
•   Complete all paperwork accurately and on time
•   Take rotating night service calls
•   Keep equipment and yard areas clean and safe
•   Operate job‑site equipment safely and train assistants to do the same
•   Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management
•   Follow all O’Keefe Drilling and DOT safety rules and procedures
•   Assist in other areas as needed and participate in ongoing training
•   Maintain balanced inventory and minimize waste
•   Use electrical instruments (1‑phase & 3‑phase systems)
•   Safely work with explosives (license required or ability to obtain)
•   Perform welding tasks, including aluminum welding

•   Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot pump and well systems
•   Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
•   Ability to travel and work in varying outdoor conditions
•   Clean, professional appearance and reliable communication skills
•   Commitment to safety for yourself, coworkers, and customers
•   Experience with electrical systems, welding, or pump systems is a plus
•   Valid driver’s license required
