Hours: Standard schedule is Monday - Friday, 5:00am - 2:00pm
* Flexible start and end times available based on production needs
* Option to work either a 5×8 schedule or a 4×10 schedule
Pay: $24.00-$28.00/HR
Duties:
Set up and operate CNC laser machinery in accordance with production specifications and safety standards
Select, load, and import cutting programs into Sigmanest nesting software
Establish proper stop locations and adjust laser beam focal points for optimal cutting performance
Perform accurate machine setups for a variety of cutting operations
Diagnose and troubleshoot laser equipment issues to minimize downtime
Inspect, clean, and maintain laser machinery; complete scheduled preventative maintenance
Identify and report defective materials to supervisors or quality personnel
Issue and record material usage within the ERP system
Support additional production tasks as assigned, including working at alternate workstations based on workflow needs
Qualifications:
2+ years of CNC laser operating experience (Mitsubishi experience preferred)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, routers, and work instructions
Proficiency with basic math and handheld measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to adjust machine settings
Comfort working in a fast‑paced production environment with shifting priorities
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Solid problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
Dependable work ethic and attention to detail
