About the Role
You will play a crucial part in the metal casting process. Working with cutting-edge machinery, witness molten metal being poured into molds, and shape the final castings.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assist in melting, pouring, and casting molten metal into molds
• Prepare molds, cores, and casting materials
• Load and unload materials, scrap metal, and finished parts
• Use tools and equipment to grind, cut, and clean parts
• Clean and inspect parts for defects or damage
• Perform basic math and measurements to ensure accuracy
• Inspect parts to meet quality and safety standards
• Follow specifications, blueprints, or work instructions
• Follow all safety procedures in a hot industrial environment
• Wear required PPE (face shields, gloves, respirators, heat-resistant gear, etc.)
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Support OSHA and company safety policies

Qualification Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction or mechanical aptitude would be a golden ticket
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules and operating instructions, as well as utilize measuring tools on a daily basis
• Strong basic math skills (measurements, counting, calculations)
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and demanding labor
• Ability to pass a drug screen, 5-year background check, and a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)

Pay & Union Benefits: 

• $26.00/hour starting wage
