Conveyor Load/Unload (A2159)

Our client in Willoughby is seeking skilled Conveyor Load & Unload candidates.

Associates will be responsible for setting up routed products, loading and unloading parts on the production line, inspecting finished products, stacking completed units, and performing required cleanup tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, efficiency, and safe operation of the paint line process.

Union Shop; Pay $22.20/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Load routed products onto the paint line and unload finished products from the conveyor

• Inspect parts for quality, color consistency, and defects before and after processing

• Hang parts according to routing instructions, hanging schedules, or supervisor direction

• Use clean hooks and racks to ensure proper grounding for electrostatic powder coating

• Stack finished products in complete sets and record counts accurately

• Keep unloading and work areas clear, clean, and organized

• Assist with cleanup during color changes, lunch periods, and end-of-shift

• Perform washer clearing procedures and properly stage materials to prevent rust

• Move finished products to designated locations and record inventory movements

• Accurately complete time sheets and/or computer entries for labor and production data

• Report shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to the supervisor promptly

Safety & Quality Expectations:

• Follow all personal and equipment safety rules at all times

• Maintain quality standards by checking materials before, during, and after processing

• Notify a supervisor or lead person immediately if quality issues arise

Additional Duties:

• Report to assigned supervisor or lead person for daily tasks and new assignments

• Assist with training new employees as needed

• Support team members to maintain efficient workflow

Qualifications (Preferred):

• Manufacturing, production, or paint line experience a plus

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift as required

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
