Sparks Yard Man – Full Time

 

Seeking a reliable Sparks Yard Man to support daily yard operations. This supervised role works as part of a three-person team and is responsible for yard coordination, vehicle movement, customer assistance, auction support, and facility upkeep. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, integrity, communication, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Manage daily yard operations, vehicle storage, and security
• Operate a seated forklift with vehicle-mover attachment (minimum 1 year experience required)
• Support monthly vehicle auctions (every second Saturday)
• Assist customers and insurance adjusters as needed
• Perform facility maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs
• Maintain tools, towing equipment, and ensure proper storage
• Coordinate with dispatch, office staff, and supervisors

Requirements:

 

• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience (outdoor/cold environment preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and I-9 eligibility
• Clean background check and drug screening
• Availability to work the second Saturday of each month (4–5 hours)

 

Schedule:

 

• Weekday hours, full time
• Overtime on 2nd Saturday of each month 4-5 hrs.
