Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Supply Chain / Logistics Manager for a manufacturing client. This role is responsible for overseeing shipping, inventory control, purchasing, and production scheduling to ensure efficient material flow and on-time customer delivery. The ideal candidate has strong Epicor ERP experience and proven leadership skills across multiple supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Shipping, Inventory, and Buying teams
• Oversee daily logistics and supply chain operations
• Own Epicor ERP scheduling functions, including job release, resource loading, and production priorities
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely purchasing and replenishment
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of Epicor transactions (inventory, jobs, purchasing, shipping)
• Coordinate domestic and international shipping, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Develop and track KPIs such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and purchase order cycle time
• Collaborate with Engineering to align BOMs/MOMs with production requirements
• Partner with Production to resolve material shortages and adjust schedules as needed
• Support Quality processes including NCRs and DMRs impacting logistics
• Train, coach, and develop logistics staff
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Ensure all safety and quality standards are followed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or production scheduling
• Strong Epicor ERP experience (scheduling, inventory, purchasing, shipping)
• Proven leadership experience managing teams
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Lean or continuous improvement experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Occasional travel may be required
