Material Handler
Location: Kansas City, KS
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00am–3:30pm
Pay: $20–21/hour, paid weekly

A small, local company is looking for a reliable Material Handler who isn’t afraid to get hands-on. You’ll spend most of your day moving, staging, and handling materials, but when things slow down, they’ll train you on metal and machine operations—so no two days are the same. This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable on a forklift but also enjoys working with their hands and being part of a small, team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks as needed

• Read work orders and pull materials accurately

• Assist with inventory counts and material tracking

• Learn and support metal/machine operations (training provided)

• Keep work areas clean and organized

• Follow safety rules and company procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience required

• Forklift experience or certification preferred

• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as needed

• Reliable, hardworking, and a good fit for a small team

• Willingness to get hands-on and learn new skills
