QC Inspector – Apparel

Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $20–$23 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

Position Overview

As an Apparel Quality Control Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality and supporting product development. You’ll become an expert in inspecting apparel products, including taking precise measurements, checking for defects, and confirming compliance with technical specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on apparel products:
  • Take and record measurements
  • Inspect garments for sewing or fabric defects
  • Verify products against technical specification packets
  • Conduct color evaluations
  • Communicate issues to supervisor for follow-up inspections
  • Separate defective garments and classify for rework when possible
• Conduct pre-production inspections:
  • Check measurements and communicate results to product management
• Address non-conforming products:
  • Wash dirty or stained items to return to stock
  • Assign work to rework team as needed
• Support projects related to apparel quality control as required

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to move efficiently and stay organized
• Experience with sewing, fabrics, or clothing preferred
• Computer proficiency (Email and Microsoft Excel)
• Effective communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
