Location: Kitchener, ON

Pay: $25.00/hr

Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday to Thursday & 6:00am-12:00pm Friday

We are assisting our client in Kitchener to find a Brake Press Operator; their specialty is manufacturing a variety of steel products.

Brake Press Operator Responsibilities:

· Operate a Brake Press in a safe and efficient manner.

· Read blueprints/plans to form parts based on specifications.

· Operate overhead crane to transport products and materials to staging areas.

· Sort and organize formed parts.

· Report defective materials and/or parts to Supervisor.

· Clean and ensure work areas are well kept and in good order.

Brake Press Operator Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years of brake press operating experience required.

· Comfortable and knowledgeable in reading blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.

· Strong attention to detail is required.

· Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs and experienced in operating overhead cranes.

· Fluent English comprehension (verbal & written).

· Safety shoes required.

· Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
