Busy FAA Certified Engineering, Manufacturing and repair company in Glendale specializing in hydraulic component maintenance for aviation OEM's and distributors worldwide is looking for an Electrical Technician to join their team.

 

Summary: The Electrical Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and electronic components to the board and component levels. This role requires strict adherence to FAA, company, and quality procedures, as well as detailed documentation of repair activities.

 

Responsibilities:

• Identify fault symptoms and perform fault isolation down to the board and component levels.
• Perform electrical and electronic repairs in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
• Document fault symptoms, repair actions, and corrective measures taken.
• Develop, document, and maintain repair processes and procedures.
• Ensure all processes and procedures are followed consistently and accurately.
• Verify that repairs are completed correctly, efficiently, and within required turnaround times.
• Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams as needed.

 

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical repair and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), preferably within the aviation or aerospace industry.
• Strong experience in fault isolation and component-level troubleshooting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post–high school education in electronics, electrical technology, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
