Special Woodworker/Fabricator

Express Employment Professionals is working with an established manufacturer of custom commercial laminate casework. Enjoy the benefits of a small, locally owned company with seasoned employees.  We are looking to do an evaluation hire for a special woodworker/fabricator. Experience in a carpentry or construction setting is required.  Also work with hand tools is required.

 

Job Title:  Special Woodworker/Fabricator

 

Hours & Wages:  M-Thurs. 6A -3P - Fridays 6A- Noon - $18 per hour

 

Job Duties:  

• Work from cut lists and work orders to create parts for custom cabinets.
• Assist in fabrication of solid surface countertops, window sills and other custom products.
• Operate various types of machinery including table saws, bandsaw, drills, sanders, routers, and related equipment.
• Perform related work as required.

 

Job Requirements:

• Basic understanding of woodworking tools, wood-cutting equipment and machinery
  • Skilled in the use of hand & small power tools
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good attitude and team player
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Able to work overtime
  • Prefer 2 years experience in cabinet making or wood working, wood finishing, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Vocational degree in woodworking helpful
