Equipment Repair Technician

Located in Athens, TX

Salary: $15-18/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Equipment Repair Technician to join a local company in the Athens, TX area.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Rotating Saturdays), 6AM - 3:30PM

Responsibilities: 

• Perform repair maintenance on equipment according to schedules assigned by service management
• Verify work assignments for accuracy and request clarification when needed
• Diagnose equipment issues and recommend additional repairs to the Service Coordinator so customers can be notified
• Maintain tools and equipment; follow all safety procedures and report tool replacement or new tool needs to the Service Manager
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of customer equipment during and after service
• Operate forklifts, tractors, and trucks with trailers as required
• Maintain accurate service documentation using basic computer systems

Requirements: 

• Knowledge of machines, tools, and mechanical systems
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to manipulate small parts using fine motor skills
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 70 pounds
• Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Forklift and equipment operation experience preferred
