Salary: $16.00 an hour
Our client, is seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join their production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with manufacturing machinery and strong mechanical aptitude to perform setups, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
Location: Mentor, OH Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $16.00+/hr BOE
Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation
Perform basic machine setup, some calibration, and adjustments as needed
Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy according to specifications
Maintain clean and organized work area following safety and 5S standards
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major concerns to maintenance
Follow production schedules and meet output targets
Complete daily production and quality documentation
Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, gauges, and measurement tools
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment
