Production Worker (Assembly) – Tire & Wheel Manufacturing

Location: Springfield, OH
Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Job Overview

We are currently hiring Production Workers for a fast-paced assembly facility specializing in medium commercial tire and wheel assemblies. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

As part of a shift crew, you will help assemble, mount, inflate, balance, and sequence tire and wheel assemblies to meet exact customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble tires and wheels according to work instructions
• Mount, inflate, and balance assemblies to required specifications
• Lift and maneuver tires up to 50 lbs regularly
• Maintain continuous production while standing, bending, and lifting for up to 10 hours per shift
• Identify part numbers and ensure correct materials are used
• Read and follow detailed work instructions and production guidelines
• Enter basic data into computer systems as needed
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Perform quality checks to ensure defect-free production output

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of assembly or factory experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
• Strong attendance record and reliability
• Safety-conscious with a commitment to following procedures
• Quality-focused with attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Basic communication skills (must be able to follow instructions clearly)
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Forklift experience
