Program Manager

 

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Program Manager to oversee residential home modification programs serving low-income and elderly homeowners and renters throughout Miami. This role will be responsible for coordinating accessibility and safety improvements in residential homes, managing program timelines and budgets, and administering HUD grant funding in compliance with federal and local guidelines. The ideal candidate for this role, is highly organized, community-focused, and comfortable managing multiple projects while working with homeowners, contractors, and funding agencies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage home modification projects designed to improve safety and accessibility for elderly and low-income residents.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, coordinates client intake, staff assignments, contractor logistics, and quarterly reporting.
  • recruitment and outreach implementation. Work in conjunction with the Program Director to provide feedback on the program and generates progress reports both internally for OACC as the agency, and externally for HUD quarterly.
  • Oversee the CAP-Specialist, Occupational Therapist, and Marketing & Outreach Team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners and/or renters throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure full compliance with HUD regulations, reporting requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Maintain accurate program records, grant files, and reporting documentation.
  • Assist with program planning, improvements, and audits as needed.

 

Schedule & Pay:

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00AM – 5:00PM
  • Pay: $60,000/yr
  • Project period: May 2025-May 2028

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in program management, community services, housing programs, or social services
  • Working knowledge of HUD grants, government funding, or compliance reporting strongly preferred
  • Experience coordinating construction, home repairs, or accessibility modifications is a plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with elderly and vulnerable populations
  • Proficient with basic computer systems, documentation, and reporting tools
  • High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability
  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
