Job Title: Legal Case Manager

Location: Auburn, AL 
Employment Type: Full-Time

$18 - $20 per hour 

Mon - Friday, 8am - 5pm CST 

Position Summary

The Legal Case Manager serves as a primary point of contact for clients and plays a critical role in managing cases from intake through resolution. This position is responsible for maintaining case files, coordinating communication between clients, attorneys, and third parties, and ensuring deadlines and documentation are handled accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, compassionate with clients, and comfortable managing multiple cases at once in a fast-paced legal environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned cases from initial intake through settlement or trial

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and answering case-related questions

  • Gather, organize, and maintain case documentation including medical records, police reports, correspondence, and pleadings

  • Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties

  • Track critical deadlines, appointments, court dates, and follow-ups to ensure cases remain on schedule

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, demand packages, discovery responses, and trial support as needed

  • Accurately update case management software and maintain detailed case notes

  • Ensure compliance with firm procedures, legal standards, and confidentiality requirements

  • Support administrative tasks related to case flow and file management


Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Legal Case Manager, Paralegal, or Legal Assistant preferred

  • Experience in personal injury, workers’ compensation, or litigation is a plus

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of professionalism and client-focused demeanor

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
