Job Summary

A reputable company in Gulfport, MS is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Vacuum Truck Driver to operate and maintain vacuum trucks for industrial and environmental services. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and compliance with all driving and job-site regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate vacuum trucks in accordance with DOT and company regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
• Transport and handle materials in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload vacuum truck contents as required
• Maintain accurate driving logs and job documentation
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and site-specific requirements
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition
• Assist with related field work as needed

 

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license (required)
• Clear driving record
• Clear background check covering the past 3–5 years
• Previous vacuum truck or heavy equipment experience preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Preferred Skills

• Industrial, environmental, or oil & gas service experience
• Mechanical knowledge or equipment operation experience
• Hazmat endorsement (a plus, but not required)
