Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati East is hiring a WEEKEND shiftFiber Laser Operator for a manufacturing firm in Milford, OH. This role works directly with manufacturing equipment, ensuring precision and quality in every cut. The ideal candidate will be passionate about manufacturing excellence, safety, and continuous improvement, contributing to our dynamic production team.

Core Functions:

• Operate and monitor fiber laser cutting machines with precision, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards
• Set up machine parameters using CNC programming, CAM programming, and blueprint reading to produce accurate parts
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of fiber laser equipment to maximize efficiency
• Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools for material handling, fabrication, and tooling adjustments
• Conduct quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions
• Maintain detailed documentation of production runs, machine logs, and inspection reports
• Participate in 5S and Kaisan activities and projects.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while handling materials, tools, and machinery on the factory floor

Experience & Requirements:

• Proven experience operating fiber laser cutting machines or similar CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of CNC programming, CAD design software such as SolidWorks or similar tools
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and automation systems used in manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and fabrication techniques
• Hands-on experience with tooling setup on press brake machines, stamping presses, CNC mills/lathes, and materials handling equipment like forklifts
• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and work efficiently within an assembly line setting
• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience emphasizing quality control, machining accuracy, and safety compliance
