Job Purpose: Loads, unloads, and move material within or near plant, yard, or work site.

Job Requirements:

This job has no supervisory requirements.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 1 — 3 months related experience and / or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and comprehend documents simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

The ability to effectively present information to customers, clients and other employees of the organization in one-on-one and small group situations.

Ability to add and subtract 2-digit numbers and to multiply and divide by IOS and 100s.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Must have qualified as a forklift operator through the Girtz program.

Reliable and predictable attendance required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
