Audit Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion. This role will supervise teams, manage client relationships, ensure timely and accurate delivery, and help identify opportunities for business growth.

Location: Sylvania, OH (Toledo Branch)
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 (based on experience) - Direct Hire 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit, review, and assurance engagements from planning through completion

• Develop audit plans, budgets, timelines, and engagement strategies

• Supervise, mentor, and develop seniors, staff, and interns

• Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance

• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and trusted advisor

• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to clients and firm leadership

• Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and billing to ensure profitability

• Lead client meetings and prepare executive-level summaries and presentations

• Identify operational and financial improvement opportunities for clients

• Support business development by identifying new engagement opportunities and participating in professional networking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• Active CPA license required

• 5–7 years of public accounting audit experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and risk assessment

• Proficiency with audit and accounting software

• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills

• Reliable transportation for occasional client site visits

• Ability to work evenings and weekends during peak seasons
