Express Employment Professionals of Windsor is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support one of our clients in downtown Hartford. This role plays a critical part in leveraging data to inform decision makers on optimizing financial and operational performance and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytic skills, financial acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business recommendations. The position offers fabulous visibility to the Sr. Leadership team.

Location: Downtown Hartford, CT

Shift: 1st shift, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Can be flexible and possibly some work from home.

Starting salary of $70,000.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with CEO/CFO to analyze departmental budgets and identify opportunities.
• Evaluate daily operational activities to ensure budget allocations align with organizational priorities and financial objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive cost analyses, audits, and financial reviews.
• Utilize data analysis tools and IT systems to support financial modeling, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of recent experience in budget analysis, audits, or data sourcing work.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.
• Ability to turn researched data into actionable and cost-saving directives.
