Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

 

Job Summary:

Express Employment Professionals in Miami Dade South is currently hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a healthcare facility in the Miami Dade area. The OTA will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions to patients of all ages, assisting in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans to improve functional abilities and quality of life. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.

 

Requirements:

Assist the Occupational Therapist in conducting initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of patients' functional abilities across all age groups

Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the OT, including therapeutic activities, exercises, and modalities

Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Educate patients and their families regarding treatment goals, progress updates, and home exercise programs to support continued recovery

 

Schedule & Pay:

• Schedule: Full Time | Monday to Friday
• Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 P/H Depending on Experience 

Qualifications:

• Current OTA license required; entry-level position — no prior experience required
• Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) required, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-oriented attitude with a genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes
•  Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of a licensed OT in a fast-paced clinical environment
