Water Jet Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Water Jet Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining water jet cutting equipment to fabricate metal and other materials used in the production of bus shelters, benches, and outdoor furniture. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities

Operate water jet cutting machines according to specifications and work orders

Set up machines, load materials, and ensure proper alignment

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and cut lists

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed

Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment

Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Follow all safety policies and manufacturing procedures
Requirements

Previous experience operating water jet machines (preferred)

Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience

Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, etc.)

Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and quality

Pay: $20.00
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 3:30pm- 11:00pm + Overtime *Will be training on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks*
