Job Summary:

Express is seeking an Electric Motor Mechanic to join our team and repair various types of electromechanical equipment, including electric motors up to 30,000HP.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot Equipment: Test and diagnose problems with electromechanical equipment using AC or DC methods. Retest equipment after repairs to ensure it works correctly.
• Disassemble Equipment: Carefully take apart electromechanical equipment, noting the parts and their condition.
• Clean and Restore: Use tools like parts washers and steamers to clean and restore equipment.
• Replace and Repair Parts: Measure and replace worn or defective parts to ensure the equipment functions properly.
• Operate Tools: Use specialized repair and testing equipment as needed.
• Document Repairs: Complete paperwork accurately and on time for each job.
• Follow Safety Procedures: Always wear protective gear and follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain Work Area: Keep your workspace clean and organized.
• Adapt to Tasks: Perform both skilled and unskilled tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in electromechanical repair or a similar field.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electromechanical repair is a plus.
• Skills: Proficient in using repair and testing equipment, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various positions, and use hand and power tools.
• Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety procedures and the use of protective gear.

Hours:

6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Pay:

$38.00-42.00 DOE
