Geosynthetics Q/A Field Technician

Location: Pendergrass, GA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a Field Geosynthetics Technician to perform on-site inspections and testing of geosynthetic materials used in civil and environmental construction projects.

This is an onsite, in-the-field position.

Responsibilities

• Inspect geosynthetic installations (geomembranes, geotextiles, geogrids)
• Perform seam testing (air pressure, vacuum box, spark testing)
• Verify installation meets project specifications
• Document test results, repairs, and daily field reports
• Communicate findings to project teams
• Follow safety and QA/QC procedures

Requirements

• Recent experience in the Construction Industry is a must
• Ability to work outdoors and travel as needed
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working on uneven terrain and active construction sites
• Use of PPE including hard hat, safety boots, gloves, and safety vest

Preferred

• Background in construction materials testing, QA/QC, or field inspection
• Experience in geosynthetics, CQA/QC, or construction inspection
• OSHA 10/30 or similar certifications (plus)
