The Tradeshow Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Sales & Marketing team in achieving its strategic business initiatives. This position works in a fluid, fast-paced environment where the ability to multitask and prioritize requests requires a strong focus on customer service. It involves collaborating with the team, thinking on one's feet, and problem-solving with attention to detail and accuracy.
Primary Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
• Manage logistics in the planning and developing of marketing materials to meet strategic business goals. Plan, implement, distribute, track, and improve product collateral, email, social media, or digital campaigns, and ensure brand guidelines are met.
• Coordinates events for customers and sales team members. Planning and implementation can range from tradeshows to sales meetings to VIP visits.
• Travel arrangements such as hotel, airfare, catering, etc.
• Internal communications and documentation for tracking
• External communications and budget tracking.
• Coordinates VIP trip details for our offices in Newberg, Chicago, and Charlotte. Food ordering, scheduling, hotels, confirmations, communications
• Coordinates showroom readiness for VIP tours
• Prepares, submits, and organizes tradeshow meeting paperwork.
• Acts as the sales & marketing point person for internal communication purposes
• Tracks & summarizes sales expenses and submits by tracking, analyzing, and summarizing expenses.
• Creates, maintains, and enters information into databases and web content management systems.
• Provides customer (dealer) support by providing product, promotion, and pricing information.
• Supports Marketing efforts in proofreading, tracking projects, and helping to communicate status.
Educational and Skill Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related experience required
• Minimum three years of experience in sales and/or marketing
• Self-motivated multi-tasker with a proven track record of execution
• Fast learner with strong interpersonal relationship skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Highly refined organizational and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• No more than 40 unexcused hours per calendar year.
