Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Packaging Associate for a candy manufacturer and retailer in Tonawanda, NY.

 

Shift Hours: 8:30AM-4:30PM

 

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Efficiently packages a variety of candies and confectionery items, weighing and arranging them in bags, boxes or containers.
  • Accurately label products with names, descriptions, ingredients, allergen information, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Inspect packaged products for quality, checking for proper sealing and cleanliness, and address any defects.
  • Apply decorative elements like ribbons and bows to enhance product presentation.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to lift 50lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
