Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Handyman to support facilities and maintenance operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with general maintenance, repair, and janitorial experience who takes pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance, repairs, and basic installations

  • Safely use janitorial supplies and equipment

  • Maintain exterior areas, including clubhouse and landscaping support

  • Operate tools and maintenance equipment properly and safely

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and tools

  • Perform heavy manual labor under various weather conditions

  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately

  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule

  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude when working with the public and team members

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of safe use of janitorial supplies and maintenance equipment

  • Ability to quickly learn janitorial and maintenance procedures

  • Experience using tools and equipment for repairs and installations

  • Ability to perform heavy manual labor in varying weather conditions

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Dependable with strong follow-through on assigned tasks

  • Professional demeanor with respect for individuals, teams, and the organization

  • Ability to stay calm and positive when challenged
