Job Title: Production Associate
PAY: $17.50
Shift & Schedule:  2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday | 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM

Weekend Shifts:
- Night: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

**Mandatory Fridays: Required for 1st and 2nd shifts during periods of high production demand**

Work Environment:
- Facility operates using fiberglass materials, which may be itchy and uncomfortable
- Strong resin odor present throughout the facility
- Candidates must be comfortable working in this environment
- Required PPE will be provided and must be worn at all times

Position Summary:
The Production Associate supports daily manufacturing operations by assisting with machine operation, material handling, and preparation of finished products. Associates may rotate between departments based on production needs and must follow all safety, quality, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in operating production machinery and equipment
- Load raw materials into machines and monitor production processes
- Cut, stack, and palletize finished products according to specifications
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality
- Prepare products for shipment and staging
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout where applicable
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Production Assignments May Include:
Pultrusion -
- Assist with feeding fiberglass through machines and resin coating systems
- Cut finished materials and stack on pallets
- Perform repetitive lifting and stacking

Painting:
- Hang parts on racks and assist with paint booth operations
- Load materials and paints
- Assist with overhead crane or rigging systems
- Perform heavy lifting with team support

Foam Area:
- Operate machines to fill molds with foam
- Cut foam products to length
- Stack finished products on pallets
- Lift materials up to 40lbs

Material Handling:
- Operate pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts (if certified)
- Deliver raw materials to production lines
- Transport finished goods to warehouse areas

Winder Operation:
- Load raw materials onto machines
- Assist with machine operation used to build light pole components

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs or more depending on assignment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and mandatory overtime

Qualifications:
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime
