Our Scarborough client, an industry leader in Retail Innovation, is looking for a Delivery Driver/Material Handler to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Transport material and finished goods using 5-ton truck between company locations and to and from vendor sites
• Conducts pre and post checks on vehicles
• Use ERP System to receive materials, complete receiving documents, and process transactions
• Strict adherence to health and safety guidelines and road safety
• Practice safe housekeeping, ensuring work areas are neat, organized and safe
• Safely operates counterbalance forklift, reach trucks, tow motors and lifting devices
• Inspect and receive goods, and partake in cycle counts
• Pack and wrap skids, and move products within the warehouse
• Other duties as required.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2-3 years Shunt driving experience
• 1-2 years of Forklift experience (Counterbalance & Reach Truck)
• Valid G License and clean driver’s abstract
• Valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift License
• Willing to learn, coachable and takes initiative
• Detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Sound knowledge of road safety, and health and safety guidelines
• Hard-working and a team player
• Lift up to 50lbs
• Safety boots required

• Dedicated, eager to learn, enjoys traveling

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday (7:30am to 4:00pm)
• Pay Rate: $22 per hour
