Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (working lunch)
OR 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Book Boxers to join a fast-paced book manufacturing facility in Odenton, MD. This role involves standing for extended periods, catching, inspecting, and boxing finished book orders according to job jacket specifications. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential, as quality control is required at each step of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Catch and box completed book orders based on job jacket instructions

• Inspect each book prior to boxing to ensure quality and accuracy

• Perform basic quality control checks throughout the production process

• Maintain pace in a fast-moving manufacturing environment

• Stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive tasks

• Follow all safety and production guidelines

Quality Control Expectations

• Check each book for defects, damage, or errors

• Confirm order details match job jacket requirements before boxing

• Ensure boxed orders meet company quality standards

Qualifications

• Stable work history required (3–5 years preferred)

• Previous warehouse and/or manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to read and understand written instructions

• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
