Our client, a specialty manufacturing company based in Carmel, IN, is growing and seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator/Assembly Associate to join their team. This is a hands-on role supporting both production and warehouse operations, with a strong focus on quality control and order fulfillment.

 

Pay, Hours, and Benefits

• Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities for the Machine Operator/Assembly Associate:

• Assemble hardware products and prepare production orders for shipment.
• Machine hardware items including drilling, sawing, and milling.
• Pick and prepare orders for same-day shipping when needed.
• Assist with receiving shipments and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform final quality inspections to ensure product accuracy and compliance.
• Safely handle materials to support production and warehouse operations.

Qualifications for the Machine Operator/Assembly Associate:

• Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Experience with common hand tools and machines.
• Woodworking and production manufacturing machine experience are directly applicable.
• If you also have receiving, material handing and/or inventory experience you will be given top consideration.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections and order accuracy.
• Capable of following written work instructions.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a full 40-hour week.
• Team-oriented with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
